Philadelphia, PAThe annual West Philadelphia Porchfest - The annual West Philadelphia Porchfest will take place on Saturday, June 4th from noon and feature free performances from porches across the neighborhood. This community-based music event aims to celebrate the diversity of the West Philadelphia community by offering free shows on the porches of area residents. The lineup will feature acts from various genres, from rap to country.

The festival features performances by local musicians, comedians, and street performers. Previous events were held at 68+ porches. Those performing at 12 p.m. will find themselves in the company of local musicians and entertainers. The festival is free, so the audience can come to any porch for a show. The festival is hosted by volunteers who will serve as the emcees and take requests from audience members.

The festival is organized by volunteers from various neighborhoods, including the Germantown and East Kensington neighborhoods. The organizers hope to attract as many residents as possible, and they're already expecting a big turnout this year. During this event, local musicians perform at dozens of porches, including the famous West Philly Porchfest, where the bands are free to play. Porchfest has evolved into a thriving music festival in the city.
