Arctic Splash To Discontinue Iconic Single-pint Cartons
Its popularity has spread far beyond Fishtown, with fans across the region. But, If you're one of those Philadelphians who can't live without their beloved iced tea, you may be disappointed to learn that the iconic drink in the iconic paper carton is going to be discontinued. The drink will now be sold in plastic containers.
"We only have a limited supply of Arctic Splash cartons in stock. It could be the end when they are gone," the company posted on Instagram.
As, a result of the announcement some Fishtown residents have started collecting the cartons that the famous beverage company has now discontinued. They've also began taking pictures of the iconic single-pint cardboard cartons and have a started posting them on Tumblr and Instagram accounts devoted to the discarded cartons.
