Philadelphia, PA - Visit Philadephia revealed the “Gift of Philly,” a video highlighting Philadelphia's professional team mascots - The Phillie Phanatic (Phillies), Gritty (Flyers), Swoop (Eagles), Franklin (Sixers) and Phang (Union) gathering and giving out goodies to travelers at Philadelphia International Airport.
The video clip starts with each mascot collecting holiday products at prominent locations around Philly: The Flyers Gritty obtains a Christmas tree at Rittenhouse Square, The Eagles Swoop snatches hot chocolate at Franklin Square, 76’ers Franklin receives baked goods at Termini Brothers Bakery, the Phillie Phanatic picks up Christmas lights at the Miracle on South 13th Street and finally, The Unions Phang ends up playing music at The Wanamaker Organ in Macy’s.
The advertisement was produced to encourage everyone to give the generous gift of memory-making as well as share their Philadelphia experiences with others.
