Philadelphia, PA - The Delaware Valley Intelligence Center together with the Philadelphia Police Department is searching for multiple civilian Jr. Law Enforcement Analysts (entry-level). They will be taking applications between 3/25 to 4/5.
Philadelphia Police are Seeking Jr. Law Enforcement Analysts
The Workforce in this class undertakes a training program which may include attending training sessions, participating on assignments and/or various other tasks designed to familiarize them with law enforcement information management systems, crime analysis, intelligence analysis, as well as research. The Intelligence, Research, Operations, and Real-Time Crime Center assignments vary in nature and expand in complexity as the employee obtains experience. Employees work on assigned shifts in the Real-Time Crime Center assignment. Work is carried out under the supervision of a technical superior.
Minimum Experience and Education include completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) at an accredited college or university with major coursework in criminology, criminal justice, crime science, data science, geography, intelligence analysis, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related social science field. Applications may be accepted if the date of graduation is Spring of 2019.
Applicants must be able to pass, before the appointment, a local, state and national criminal background check including a fingerprint-based check as required by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Security Policy.
