Philadelphia To Unveil America's Largest Pride FlagPHILADELPHIA, PA – Prepare for one of America's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations! Philly Pride 365 has officially announced the return of the annual Philadelphia Pride March and Festival on Sunday, June 1, 2025. This vibrant event, a cornerstone of Philly Pride Month, is expected to draw massive crowds, following last year's record turnout of an estimated 100,000 people.

This year promises an even grander spectacle, including the debut of America's most significant progress rainbow pride flag, now expanded to an incredible 600 feet.

Under the 2025 theme, Philly L.U.V. (Legacy, Unity, Visibility), and with new fiscal sponsorship from the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC), the celebration will honor the community, its culture, and its enduring spirit.

The Pride March will kick off the day, forming at 6th and Walnut Streets at 10:30 AM before proceeding to the Philadelphia Gayborhood. The march is open to all LGBTQ+ communities and allies, with no registration required (floats and vehicles are prohibited). It's an ode to historic Remembering Day Demonstrations and will feature speeches, music, and the unveiling of the record-breaking 600-foot pride flag.

Following the march, the Philadelphia Pride Festival will take over the Gayborhood from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The expanded festival footprint will stretch from Walnut to Pine Streets and Quince to Juniper Streets, encompassing even more beloved Gayborhood businesses. Attendees can explore over 200 small businesses and organizations, enjoy performances by diverse entertainers and artists, savor delights from numerous food trucks, and connect with community organizations across multiple stages and zones.

"Pride is about our community first," said Jeremy Williams, Producer for Philly Pride 365. We prioritize integrity in our organizing. That means spotlighting local talent, honoring intersectionality, and investing in producers who serve the community with heart."

The Philadelphia Pride March and Festival are free for all to attend, with food and drink available on a pay-as-you-go basis. This vibrant kickoff to Philly Gay Pride Month also significantly supports LGBTQ-owned small businesses. For more information, schedules, and updates, visit www.phillypride365.org.
