The restaurant has over a dozen locations and is considered one of Wilmington's best burgers. It has a vintage menu, comfortable booths, and waitresses with attitude. Charcoal Pit also has Fox Run Shopping Center and Prices Corner locations.

A charcoal pit burger is hands down the best burger in Wilmington. The meaty patty is made with charcoal-flavored beef and served on a fluffy bun. The deluxe burger features lettuce, tomato, and a pickle. It's a double-sized burger that is a full eight ounces. The sides are small, but the fries are normal size. The milkshakes are served in a silver beaker.
