PHILADELPHIA, PA – Fans of cheesesteaks rejoice! Jim’s South Street, the iconic Philadelphia restaurant, is set to reopen in late October after a year-long closure due to a fire. The new restaurant will be twice as large as the original and promises to return all of the beloved menu items from before.
Jim’s South Street has been a staple of the city since 1939 and is located at Fourth and South Streets. The restaurant is known for its classic Philly cheesesteaks and other delicious sandwiches. It also offers a variety of salads, sides, and drinks.
Jim’s South Street owner is excited to welcome customers back into the newly renovated space. An official opening date will be announced soon.
