It has an old-world charm that's hard to beat, but service is slow, and the atmosphere quirky. The kitchen is run by the owner's wife, who passed away.

The restaurant is located in a historic 19th-century building. Inside, the décor is reminiscent of an old Italian tavern. Bentwood chairs wobble as they age, but the staff is patient if you have to switch seats. The restaurant is cash only, and BYO.  The decor is decorated with antiques. If you want a classic Italian meal, Mr. Martino's is the place to go. The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. You'll want to try the Octopus Soup, Veal Tortellini, or Scallop Risotto. And don't forget the desserts! Tiramisu is made from scratch, and Lemon Tart is phenomenal.
