Manayunk Fall Festival and Mac N Cheese Crawl Take Over Historic Main Street

Running from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the one-day blockbuster event will transform the neighborhood into the ultimate autumn destination. Visitors can expect live music, dozens of local vendors, seasonal food trucks, and a full slate of Halloween festivities set against the backdrop of the changing leaves along the Schuylkill River towpath.

Fall Fest Highlights: Vendors, Music, and Rescue Pets

The free-to-attend Fall Festival offers something for every age group. Main Street will be lined with more than 50 local artisan makers and over 14 food trucks serving up seasonal treats like churros, dumplings, and Cajun cafe fare.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees can enjoy live entertainment across three distinct sound stages located at Cotton Street and Grape Street. The event also features family-friendly activities, including face painting, caricatures, a glass-blowing demonstration by Levelthal Glass, and a pop-up pumpkin patch.

Two unique partnerships are also debuting at this year's festival:

• The Kids Market: Located at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center basketball courts, this market features 40 youth entrepreneurs (ages 5 to 17) selling products they created, priced, and marketed themselves.
• Paws for a Cause: Bennett from The NEW 96.5 is teaming up with the Pennsylvania SPCA at the Richard's Apex Lot to host a massive pet adoption event and donation drive. Visitors can meet adoptable animals and drop off much-needed pet supplies.

The Mac N Cheese Crawl

The undeniable culinary highlight of the afternoon is the return of the Mac N Cheese Crawl. Running from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this ticketed tasting tour invites guests to sample creative, gooey takes on the ultimate comfort food from the neighborhood's top kitchens.

Presale tickets are available for $20 and include an event map, exclusive crawl-day offers, and samples from 19 participating restaurants. Attendees will ultimately vote to crown Philadelphia's top mac and cheese. Participating venues include heavyweights like Lucky's Last Chance, Blondie, Taqueria Amor, The Goat's Beard, and Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant.

Spooky Season Takes Over Manayunk

The October 17 festival is just the anchor of a month-long Halloween celebration across the district. If you are looking for thrills, chills, or a themed cocktail, Manayunk's spooky season lineup is packed:

• Lincoln Mill Haunted House (Sept 26 – Nov 7): Located at 4100 Main Street, this story-driven attraction is widely considered one of the most intense haunted houses in the region. Featuring over 40 live scare-actors, production-quality sets, and animatronics, the mill promises a terrifying walk-through experience. The venue is also offering interactive EMF Ghost Tours for paranormal enthusiasts.
• Taq Area 51 Pop-Up Bar (Sept 10 – Nov 1): Taqueria Amor has completely transformed its space into an extraterrestrial Halloween pop-up. Expect out-of-this-world decor, customized food menus, and themed cocktails all month long.
• Main Street Trick-or-Treating (Oct 24): Families can head to Main Street from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for community trick-or-treating at participating local businesses. Pet owners can also stop by City of Paws to enter their furry friends into a highly competitive Pet Costume Contest.
• FearLit 2026 (Oct 31): Hosted by Thrillerdelphia at the Venice Island PAC, this four-hour horror literature event will feature 25 authors—including local bestseller Jason Rekulek and Keith Rosson—for panels, book signings, and horror culture programming.
• Halloween Night Parties (Oct 31): For the 21+ crowd, Manayunk will cap off the month with massive costume parties and drink specials at venues including Blondie, US Hotel Bar & Grill, The Brass Tap, and Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant.
