Philadelphia, PA - The Art Bar located in the heart of the Sonesta Hotel in Philadelphia is only blocks from Rittenhouse Square, and the Chestnut Street shopping district. The Sonesta Hotel opened its doors just two years ago at 18th and Market Streets, formerly the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The hotel has undergone an extensive multi-million dollar renovation a few years back, influence by Philadelphia's local art scene. The lobby, now houses an art gallery in conjunction with the Center for Emerging and Visual Artists located a few blocks away.

Thirsty Thursday’s at Sonesta Hotel’s ART BAR Hours from 5pm-7pm
Sonesta will be kicking off the Eagles home opener this weekend with a special Eagles-inspired cocktail, “The Wentz-A-Rita.” Photo attached. Offered every Sunday at ART BAR, the green cocktail is made with Suaza tequila, Triple Sec, fresh lime juice, Midori and a splash of pineapple. Every football Sunday, Sonesta will be bringing in large screen TV’s to watch the Eagles game on.
The Art Bar, serves light bites, beer, wine, art inspired cocktails (named after famous works of art) and infused spirits. The location features an outdoor seating area along 18th Street and live local music on Thursday evenings. Communal tables and window seating inside encourage a friendly vibe and, as its name implies, an artsy decor in the form of vibrant colors and modern day furnishings.
The kitchen has a local fare, with a large selection of breakfast, lunch and happy hour items. Breakfast options include bagels, breakfast sandwiches, fruit and yogurt. Lunch options, include a large selection of salads as well as hot and cold sandwiches, for the quick lunch or mid-day break. Beginning at 5pm happy hour offers an extensive list of local and domestic beers, wines, and spirits. As well as a new small bite section menu, small plate menu and bruschetta sections. Every Thursday evening the bar area will host local live entertainment from 5pm to 7pm and extended happy hours from Monday - Friday.
Getting there is easy as the Sonesta Hotel and Art Bar, are located just a block away from SEPTA’s Suburban Station, with bus routes just outside on Market Street and a half-mile from 30th Street Station. The Art Bar will be open daily from 6:30am to midnight, seven days a week.
