PHILADELPHIA, PA - A new oasis has emerged in the heart of Fishtown: Caletta, an intimate cocktail lounge and piano bar at the Hotel Anna & Bel. The brainchild of Chef-Partner Tyler Akin and Foyer Project, Caletta offers a transformative experience through its elevated Italian bar snacks and adventurous cocktail list.
An Intimate Lounge with Elevated Bar Snacks and Adventurous Cocktails
Inspired by his travels through Sardinia, Chef Akin has crafted a menu of luxurious bar bites featuring fresh seafood, bottarga, and local produce. Signature dishes include Italian Sturgeon Caviar, a bavette burger, and Saffron Arancini.
Beverage Director Benjamin Kirk's cocktails blend the familiar and the unexpected, using Mediterranean and global ingredients. Expect seasonal, refreshing drinks that push boundaries, like the Caletta Spritz and the Saturn Descent. A selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and hand-selected non-alcoholic wines is also available.
Designed to evoke a Mediterranean getaway, Caletta's interior features warm tones, a black piano, and scattered stools. Grand windows and doors allow natural light to flood the space, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. The piano bar will feature a rotation of local and visiting musicians, with some nights offering live performances and others an open invitation for guests to play.
Opening and Hours
Caletta will soft open this weekend (Friday and Saturday only) and officially open on October 3rd. It will be open Thursday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., welcoming walk-in guests only.
Located at 1401 E. Susquehanna Avenue, Caletta is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink, a nightcap, or an evening of cocktails and live music.
