Philadelphia, PA - The Twisted Tail, a popular Southern-inspired restaurant, bar, and live music venue on Headhouse Square, hosts a remarkable Holiday Blues Brunch on Saturday, December 16th, and Sunday, December 17th, from noon until 3 pm.

During the brunch, talented musicians will treat guests to live blues renditions of classic holiday tunes. On the 16th, Philly-raised and NOLA-sculpted funky jazz pianist Reverend Chris will be performing, and on the 17th, local Grammy-nominated Bluesman Randy Lippincott will take the stage. The restaurant will also be beautifully decorated with festive decor, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
To complement the music and ambiance, The Twisted Tail will serve a mouthwatering Southern comfort brunch menu. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Crawfish Mac and cheese, Cheesy Grits with sharp cheddar, bacon crumbles, and eggs, Chicken and waffles with a bourbon batter and winter spiced-maple syrup, and Brioche French Toast, among other delicious options. The bar will also feature traditional hot cocktails, including a Hot Apple Cider made with winter-spiced bourbon and cinnamon whipped cream.
In the evening, starting at 8 pm, the Twisted Tail's resident Blues outfit, the Mikey Junior Band, will jam to Blues, Roots, and harmonica tunes. Lastly, for those looking for a dining experience on Christmas Eve, The Twisted Tail will be open for a la carte dining from 11 am to 9 pm, with live music by Reverend Chris from 5 pm to 9 pm.
