Philadelphia, PA - For the second year in a row, Kalaya Thai Kitchen and Chef Jeff are offering a Super Bowl takeaway menu with a 3-foot banh mi, making it especially suitable for the biggest game of the year. The restaurant, located at 746 9th Street south of Fitzwater Street, is currently taking reservations for a menu designed by Chutatip "Nock" Suntaranon and Chef Jeff.
Kalaya's Super Bowl Spread Including Three-Foot Sandwich
Sunday, February 13 Super Bowl takeaway available from 12:00 to 17:00. Kalaya's Super Bowl menu includes the family's Moo Hong Banh Mi ($85), served on a 3-foot Amoroso Bakery bun with hand-cooked Moo Hong pork. Cucumber, Pad Thai, Jalapeno, grated carrot, onion, cilantro, mayonnaise, basil, and spicy cilantro.
There's also a 1.5-foot vegan banh mi ($35) with smoked coriander sweet potatoes instead of pulled pork, a vegan curry mayo, and the same toppings as the three-foot. There's also the Kaeng Pu Crab Roll ($32), which comes with the famous Kalaya crab, Chinese celery, long chili sauce, onion, coriander, and curry mayo, served on a special Amoroso curry bun.
Additionally, Kalaya will be selling a set of Kaeng Pu crab rolls and a special pack of Amoroso curry rolls, a pint of crab salad, and herbs. Pickup will be available one block away from Kalaya Thai Market at 922 S. 9th Street.
A limited number of three-foot banh mi sandwiches will be available.
