Philadelphia, PADrexel University’s Annual Philly Chef Conference - On Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11, Drexel University’s annual Philly Chef Conference is going to come back to University City, attracting top-level culinary arts and food talent from all around the planet to Philadelphia. Hospitality Management Program Director Mike Traud is happy to announce this year’s fantastic roster of participants and panelists. Passes for all activities will be on sale the same day in which the full agenda is published on the net: Wednesday, January 16 at noon.

fire“Our yearly Chef’s Conference is the centeral to our year round programming, delivering the best and most able minded in the culinary world right to our students right here in Philadelphia,” says Traud, JD, Ed.D, himself an alum of Vetri under Marc Vetri and Zeppoli under Joey Baldino. “This year’s line-up is our most robust yet, and we can’t wait to welcome these luminaries to Philadelphia and share their skills with all of our students – and our city’s booming restaurant culture with them.”

The yearly Philly Chef Conference frequently is sold out, and 2019 tickets are limited, so attendees should consider purchasing tickets as soon as possible, in order to assurance their seat. Tickets are going to be readily available starting at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 16. Credentials are required for hospitality professionals. Students in Drexel University’s Culinary and Hospitality Management Program are expected to participate in the conference, which is going to take place at Drexel's Academic Building (101 North 33rd Street).

CO-OP, The Study Hotel’s contemporary restaurant and lounge, is excited to welcome Philly Chef Conference attendees with food and drink specials all weekend! Located down the street from Drexel’s Academic Building (where all of the Philly Chef Conference’s events will be hosted), CO-OP invites attendees to continue the conversation after the Opening Night Session on SundayMarch 10th, with extended drink specials at the bar. Guests can mix and mingle while enjoying discounted drafts, cocktails and wine all night. 
 
Additionally, all attendees will receive 20% off their bill (excluding alcohol) by presenting the CO-OP ad in the Chef Conference program (valid until March 31st). CO-OP is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving up seasonal dishes, such as Cauliflower Dukkah, Braised Lamb Bucatini, Avocado Quinoa Veggie Bowl, and more, making this lively and contemporary restaurant the perfect spot to stop by for a bite or beverage during the Philly Chef Conference. 
 
The conference kicks off tomorrow, March 8th, bringing top chefs, food producers, and industry leaders together with aspiring students and young industry professionals for two educational days (Sunday, March 10th and Monday, March 11th) chock-full of lectures, industry discussions and demonstrations.
