PHILADELPHIA, PA – BurgerFi in Philly is “shaking things up” to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its mission to defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Beginning February 22, the popular better-burger chain will be donating $1 from every featured shake purchased from their rotating menu of seasonal flavors. BurgerFi’s signature Oreo Chocolate Mint Cookie Shake will kick off the year-long initiative, and a new fundraising shake flavor will be featured every six weeks. The shake features vanilla custard, chocolate sauce and crushed Oreo cookies topped with whipped cream, mint and two Oreo Mint cookies.
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago.
