PHILADELPHIA, PA - As a long-time fan of Forin, the effortlessly cool cafe in Kensington, I was thrilled when I heard the same team was opening a new, all-day restaurant and bar right on North Front Street. I had high expectations for Percy, and after my first visit, I can confidently say it delivers on every level, quickly becoming my new favorite neighborhood spot.

I stopped by for dinner, which they're currently serving from Thursday to Saturday, and was immediately struck by the atmosphere. The "cool vibes" from Forin have definitely carried over – it's a stylish yet comfortable space that feels perfect for just about any occasion.
The menu is where Percy truly shines. It's inventive, comforting, and packed with dishes you can't wait to try. We started with the Buffalo chicken deviled eggs, which were an incredible, spicy take on a classic appetizer. For my main, I couldn't resist the miso-brown butter gnocchi. It was pillowy soft, savory, and utterly delicious. My friend went for the provolone fondue-covered burger, which looked and smelled absolutely phenomenal. It's clear the kitchen is having fun while still being serious about flavor.
What I love most is the versatility. They have a daily brunch program, which is a game-changer for someone like me who works non-traditional hours. It’s great to know you can get a fantastic brunch on a Tuesday. The menu also features generously sized salads that are perfect for sharing, making it a great spot for a group.
But Percy isn't just a place to eat; it's a place to hang out. They have a dedicated Sound Lounge that hosts DJ sets on Saturdays. The idea that you can have a fantastic dinner and then seamlessly transition into a cool, music-filled evening without having to leave the building is brilliant. You can truly start and end your night here.
Given that it comes from the Forin team, it's no surprise that the coffee is also excellent, making it a reliable stop any time of day.
