Philadelphia, PA
– Wawa is celebrating the start of the 2023-24 school year with its month-long “Cheers to Classrooms” celebration. From Friday, Sept. 1 to Saturday, Sept. 30, teachers and administrators in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC can get a free coffee of any size at Wawa. All they need to do is share that they work at a school at the register.
To further honor teachers’ dedication to expanding the minds of young people, Wawa has also launched its $50,000 Cheers to Classrooms Mid-Atlantic Fund. Through a partnership with Donor’s Choose – an online resource for teachers to submit funding requests for school supplies – Wawa has designated a $50,000 matching fund to support Mid-Atlantic schools. Schools meeting Wawa’s funding criteria could receive matching funds for their projects.
Wawa invites all teachers and administrators in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, to join them in celebrating the start of the school year with free coffee throughout September and take advantage of this opportunity for their schools through Donor’s Choose.
