Philadelphia, PA - Panache Woodfire Grill has a flamboyant confidence style or manner. Something I aspire to have. Realtor Dana Friedman and I had met with a client about listing their home and showed the family a possible house to buy.
Panache Woodfire Grill
Tired and hungry, we decided to go to Panache Woodfire Grill in Blue Bell on the way home for a late dinner. The restaurant is across from the Blue Bell Inn. It was my first time here. I loved how the restaurant opened to an open patio that felt like an enchanting courtyard. It is a perfect setup considering Covid.
Panache also has a cheery vibe with a super-young staff. I would have loved to meet owner Habib Troud who owns Panache plus Ristorante Castello - maybe in the future.
I had my Hat Lady drink, and Dana had a pink martini drink on their seasonal cocktail menu. Dana and I did meet Lorraine Glickman, the General manager. When we met French-trained Chef Dino Boukraa, he told us about his special.
Even though we had already ordered, we added the chef's special, sea bass over vegetables topped with lobster and a lemon sauce. Even though I don't eat Sea Bass - I love lobster - it was the piece de resistance - a visual showstopper that tasted delicious. Dana also loved her Veal Oscar - Veal medallions topped with asparagus, crabmeat, and Grand Marnier sauce.
I had the fresh-made Gnocchi Potato dumplings served in tomato sauce. Another memorable dinner in a beautiful setting with fantastic company.
