Philadelphia, PA - The Palm in Philadelphia has officially closed its doors, after 30 years in Philadelphia. First reported by "Philly Chit Chat" The Palm on Broad Street, located right in the heart of the Theater District; was a long-standing bar and dining establishment offering striking attention to detail and the best food and drinks in center city.
The Palm Philadelphia offered traditional Italian fare and outrageously sized lobsters with the charm and service that discerning patrons have come to expect. The walls were adorned with hand-painted caricature-murals of familiar locals. The closing is just one more sign of the changing food scene in Philadelphia and will be missed.
Located in Center City Philadelphia alongside the Hyatt. In the heart of the Avenue of the Arts, The Palm Philadelphia is directly adjacent to the Kimmel Center, Merriam Theater, Academy of Music and the Wilma Theater. Many of Philadelphia’s other top attractions are within walking distance including Rittenhouse Square, the Philadelphia Convention Center, City Hall, and the Reading Terminal. Valet Parking is available at the Walnut Street entrance.
