- Philly Cider Week, with a little more than twenty establishments hosting awesome cider events throughout the greater Philadelphia area. October 23rd-October 31st is a fully-curated series of events celebrating the character and nuance of orchard-driven cider.The
The week-long event includes cider dinners (a la carte, prix fixe & guest chef), late-night happy hours, in-store tastings at retail shops, and PA cidery event, a presentation on the history of cider in Pennsylvania at the Museum of American Revolution. A selection of cider makers, both locally and from New York and Vermont, is going to be in town hosting and making appearances at events.
All proceeds will go to support: orchard-driven cider, locally, nationally, and worldwide. The goal is to promote the cider industry, one of the most essential historical alcoholic beverages along with the modern-day farmers who are preserving its heritage.
