Philadelphia, PA - West Philly Porchfest is back with the largest event to date. The unique music festival is returning this Saturday with a huge lineup of over 260 performers and 125 porches spread out over Cedar Park and surrounding areas.
The West Philly Porchfest Returns With Live Music From People's Porches
Porchfest is a do-it-yourself music festival featuring free shows spread out over porches all over the West Philadelphia neighborhoods. And anyone can host or play a show.
This year's festival will start at 12 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 5. The Festival includes performances from musicians performing everything from jazz to Bulgarian folk and even some children's music.
Porchfests started in Ithaca, N.Y, and dates back to the 2000s. Currently, the Festival has spread to over 100 cities nationwide. This year's Festival in Philadelphia will be divided into two-hour intervals and spread out in different areas throughout the day:
Philadelphia’s Prochfest 2021 Times and Locations:
- 12 to 2 p.m.: South of Baltimore Avenue
- 2 to 4 p.m.: East of Baltimore Avenue
- 4 to 6 p.m.: North of Baltimore and west of 48th Street
