- When you think of Oktoberfest, you think Bavarian pretzels, Fall Brews and Bratwurst. While Philadelphia has a few outstanding Oktoberfest events each year, It was exciting to see Pod Park hosting their very first Oktoberfest this year.
Pod Park Hosts First Oktoberfest
The event was filled with Pumpkin Spice French toast Bites from Local Artisan Foods, fall brews, bratwurst and many more fall favorites.
The park is home to one of our favorite “Tiki Tako” and we were thrilled to see them offer up a variety of bratwursts, including a delicious and mild Korean Bratwurst topped with kimchi. Expecting it to be very spicy, it was surprising, it wasn't, and that was the secret to its success.
Tiki Tako also offered up a bratwurst made with curry and jalapeno too. However, no Oktoberfest would be complete without a Bavarian pretzel, offered with beer cheese and Stout mustard.
While in line we the chance to talk with a few guests, who were absolutely loving the new Fall brews at Tiki Tako.
The park itself is a perfect venue for the entire family, including the family dog and perfect for the nightlife crowd too, due to a great wine bar and Craft Brew.
This year's Oktoberfest at Pod Park had all of the staples needed for a great Oktoberfest, with Fall brews, Bratwurst, Bavarian Pretzels and incredible live bands that played throughout the day.
