Philadelphia, PAPhiladelphia's Mural Arts Mural Mile - For more than 30 years, the Philadelphia's Mural Arts program has joined artists and neighborhoods together with a unique collaborative process, based in the tradition of mural-making, to develop art which transforms public spaces as well as personal lives.


Philadelphia's Mural Arts Mural Mile

 Philadelphia’s Mural Arts program engages neighborhoods throughout the city with 60–100 community art projects every single year, and also, preserves its ever-expanding gallery through their restoration efforts.

Walk throughout Philadelphia's lively streets to catch a gimps the art and creativity of Philly's Mural Mile. With more than 3,000 works of public art and design on exhibit throughout the city's buildings and walls. This unique exhibit is recognized as “the world’s most extensive art gallery,” this exciting exhibit tells the tale of daily life in the city of brotherly love. Each and every year, over 15,000 locals and tourist visit Philly's Mural Arts’ open-air art gallery, that has come to be a large aspect of the city’s social landscape as well as a source of great pride and encouragement, earning Philadelphia worldwide honor as the “City of Murals.”
