Philadelphia Contemporary Circus Festival Debuts PHILADELPHIA, PA – Get ready for flips, flights, and feats of imagination! The brand new Philadelphia Contemporary Circus Festival (PCCF) is set to make its dazzling debut later this month, running from May 23 to June 1, 2025. Spearheaded by the Circadium School of Contemporary Circus and FringeArts, this major new arts festival will showcase the thrilling world of contemporary circus across multiple venues in Philadelphia's Old City, along the Delaware Waterfront, and even hopping across the river to Camden, New Jersey.


For 10 days, audiences can experience over 24 shows and workshops featuring dozens of talented local, national, and international circus artists from the United States, Canada, and France. The festival promises a dynamic mix of creative movement, breathtaking athletic skill, and engaging storytelling, celebrating circus as a powerful expressive art form.

What to Expect:

  • Diverse Performances: The lineup includes everything from evocative international works like N.Ormes by Agathe & Adrien (direct from France via the Edinburgh Fringe) to Circadium student showcases like The Garden of Earthly Delights, variety shows like Glimpses and Secret Circus Salon, and unique solo acts like meSSeS by Janoah the Jester.
  • Multiple Venues: Performances will take place at key cultural hubs including FringeArts, Christ Church Neighborhood House, and Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia, plus the Trenton Circus Squad Tent in Camden's Cooper Poynt Park.
  • Free & Ticketed Events: Enjoy complimentary public performances alongside ticketed shows. Workshops for families and artists will also be offered.
