The Observatory is home to several telescopes that allow visitors to view the universe. Depending on the weather, you can see planets and the Milky Way in the night sky. If you want to learn more about astronomy, the observatory also offers an introductory six-week course.

The society operates a planetarium at the facility. It also hosts astronomical shows and star parties. It has around 70 members and is home to five research-grade telescopes. It also hosts public observing Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Visitors can also observe the stars at the observatory's public observing location.
