Philadelphia, PA - Tickets are officially on sale for The Philadelphia Zoo's new holiday season light show is set to illuminate the Zoo starting on Wednesday, November 20th through January 5th. LumiNature is a journey of lights, music, and sound set to inspire zoo visitors throughout the holiday season.
Philadelphia Zoo Reveals 35 Ft Polar Bear and Talking Trees
As LumiNature comes alive, visitors will be able to experience 12 different illuminated zones – each with their very own wildlife message and theme. Together with seasonal fare, exclusive holiday retail opportunities, strolling performers, hot chocolate, and adult beverages.
Philadelphia Zoo joined up with Oak Island Creative, a frontrunner in illumination together with KB Associates, an internationally recognized design and production firm, known for producing hundreds of innovative theatrical shows, concerts, and events, to bring compelling storytelling and one-of-a-kind theatrics to the zoo experience.
“We are excited to work with such inspiring teams to create this one-of-a-kind event for our great city,” says Amy Shearer.
Philly PHLASH will operate extended evening hours from Fridays through Sundays from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. by way of Love Park (16th & JFK Blvd.) to the Philadelphia Zoo for LumiNature. Travel on the PHLASH evening service for $2.00 roundtrip. Small children under 4, seniors as well as SEPTA pass, and Key card holders ride at no-cost.
