Visitors are invited to overcome the winter blues by escaping inside this welcoming, green oasis. A collaboration between Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Constellation Culinary Group featuring food trucks, movies, live music and much more.

The Horticulture Center’s 20,000-square-foot greenhouse is going to provide free summer-inspired fun with an abundance of family-friendly “rooms” such as:

  • The Lawn – Green grass for lounging and lawn games

  • The Midway – Local food truck vendors and a cash bar with craft beers, wine, and handcrafted cocktails

Throughout the weekdays, the space will become a welcome environment for guests to discover and kids to play with games inside the sandbox and all through the greenhouse space. To provide the summer theme full circle, Getaway at the Greenhouse will host picnic-friendly Monday’s through Friday (daytime only), enabling outside food and beverages for visitors to enjoy on the grass.
