Southern Kissed Chicken Comes to Citizens Bank Park Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia Phillies announced the addition of Colbies Southern Kissed Chicken to Citizens Bank Park for the 2022 season. With franchises in South Jersey and Delaware, the chicken-centric eatery has partnered with the Phillies to bring the chicken to the ballpark.


Colbies Southern Kissed Chicken Comes to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia

The former Philly's first baseman, Ryan Howard, is a part-owner in the franchise and made a virtual appearance at the Phillies' Media event on Monday to announce the new partnership. Guests will be able to order a "Big Piece" chicken sandwich, a nod to his nickname while playing for the Philadelphia Phillies.

The fried chicken is sure to be a Philadelphia fan favorite and is now available to purchase at the stadium. Colbies Southern Kissed Chicken will be sure to make your mouth water. The Southern Kissed Chicken will add some delicious Southern charm to the ballpark.

The menu is packed with Southern-inspired cuisine, including Colbie's signature chicken and fried chocolate sandwich cookies. The restaurant's upscale salads and spinach and tomato toppings may be more appealing for healthier options.

The new chicken sandwich is called "The Big Piece." It will feature fried chicken, garlic aioli, pickles, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. If you want to get Southern-style chicken, you can try it at the new Colbies location behind section 120. And for those who don't want to eat chicken, you can get salads or shakes for the perfect Southern touch.



As part of the new food offerings at Citizens Bank Park, the team brings a few more restaurants from Philly. The famous Manco & Manco pizzeria has been a staple in Ocean City since 1956, and KLYR rum, produced by the Blue Bell brewery, will be sold throughout the ballpark.
