Philadelphia, PA
- Nick Foles turned into a cult hero immediately after being victorious in the Philadelphia Eagles’ very first Super Bowl win last season, and he accomplishes yet another improbably miracle by leading them into the postseason once again this season.
With the Eagles beating Washington (24 - 0), and the Chicago Bears (24 -10) win over the Minnesota Vikings, the Eagles have earned the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFC Sunday night.
With Sunday nights win they finished up the regular season with five wins in six games, with the sole loss in an overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The bad news though is that Nick Foles walked into the locker room with just under 13 minutes left in the game and the Eagles up 17-0. The latest report is that QB Nick Foles suffered a chest injury and had not returned to the game.
Eagles have ended the regular season with an 8-7 record.
