Philadelphia, PA - After the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Quarterback Carson Wentz. Fans, to no surprise were not pleased with the way Bradford has handled the move. And, its no secret that Sam Bradford's looking to get out of Philly himself.
In comes Drew Abruzzese, the owner of Levittown's Big Q BB, who himself was not too happy with how Bradford handled the whole draft day news, so he did something about it.
Abruzzese, created a BBQ Sam Bradford-themed sandwich, a twist on the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, starting off with pulled pork, a boneless fried chicken breast, a deep-fried jalapeno, a potato roll and a cheddar spread and spicy Philadelphia cream cheese.
Big Q BB will be giving away 150 Sam Bradford sandwiches today in celebration of "an end of the Sam Bradford nightmare." and if you miss out the free ones, the sandwich will be for sale afterwards for just $5 or until Bradford get traded. After he gets traded, the sandwich will go up to $7, to represent his No. 7 team jersey.
Abruzzese says the ingredients were picked just for Bradford: The pulled pork, represents the inevitability that Bradford is “going to get pulled.” The jalapeños, symbolic of Bradford being “on the hot seat,” and the potato roll is for Bradford's tendency to go down “like a sack of potatoes.”
Adding more to the Sam Bradford sandwich experience, you'll be given a moist towelette to clean up the mess, though Big Q will be provide some baby wipes for fans who feel they need to “take their cleaning process to the next level.”
