Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Events in Philly  Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA), El Rey & Ranstead Room, and Triple Bottom Brewing are partnering to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with three special events. From September 22nd to October 15th, the PMA will host a family-friendly “Café on the Terrace” weekend event series featuring food trucks and a special Latin-inspired menu.


Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Events in Philadelphia

From September 30th to October 2nd, Chef Gil Arends of Pureyo Venezuelan Flavor will pop up at the PMA’s Café space on the first floor, featuring a special Venezuelan menu. Finally, El Rey & Ranstead Room will host a Hispanic Heritage-themed party on October 2nd with guest bartenders and specialty cocktails with a Latin flair.

The “Café on the Terrace” weekend event series will feature food trucks and craft beverages from Triple Bottom Brewing each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3pm – 7pm (Friday) or 2pm – 5pm (Saturday/Sunday). Saturdays and Sundays will include a special limited-time-only menu presented by Constellation Culinary Group’s Chef Hoon Rhee, featuring Poblano Enchiladas, Chicken Tinga Empanadas, and Tres Leches Bread Pudding.

On Monday, October 2nd, from 7:30 pm - 10 pm, El Rey & Ranstead Room will host a big celebration event for Hispanic Heritage Month featuring guest bartenders presenting special cocktails at each location. DJ Curtis Remarc will be playing a playlist of Latin music artists while guests flow through both spaces throughout the evening to taste each bartender’s signature cocktail. Participating bartenders include Allana Gabriela (Calle 8), Carlos Perez (You Had Me at Hola), Amanda Melendez (Carmen Maranda), Cynthia Giron (Guanabana Bay Breeze), Nico Diaz (Pornstar Daiquiri & Fashionista), and Rito Munive (86 Hopes & Dreams).

Finally, Chef Gil Arends of Pureyo Venezuelan Flavor popup at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from September 30th to October 2nd from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. He’ll be serving a special menu featuring Tequeños - kinda like cheese sticks but better; served with green mayo; Chicken Empanadas; Cheesesteak Empanadas; Reina Pepiada Arepa - chicken avocado salad, gouda; Tropical Arepa - pernil (slow roasted pork), pineapple pico; See the full menu and more information via dropbox HERE.
