Philadelphia, PA - Philly Pretzel Factory kicks off March Madness with the first "Salty 16" Bracket Contest. The tournament, which is pretzel-themed, will offer VIP (Very Important Pretzel Club) members* the opportunity to create their own pretzel-dip brackets by March 31 to be eligible for various prizes. The contest opened on March 16, and participants can enter by visiting the store. To submit their Salty 16 brackets, contestants must sign up for the Philly Pretzel Factory's FREE VIP Club. There snacks and dips are on offer to help determine the winner. To participate, brackets must be submitted no later than March 31 at 11:59 PM EST. Results for brackets will be posted by April 4 at 11:59 PM EST. All winners will receive prize information via text message notification by April 7.
Dan DiZio (founder of Philly Pretzel Factory) stated, "We wanted Philly Pretzel fans to join us in March Madness fun & create their own fantasy food bracket." Everyone has a favorite fan to root for in sports and food, and we are eager to see which team wins!
You will need to go through four rounds to create your bracket. The first round involves selecting the pretzel snacks or dips that should be used. From there, it goes on. Choices for pretzels include Mini Pretzels, Cinnamon Rivets, Pretzel Dogs, etc., and drops including Yellow Mustard, Nacho Cheese, Butter Cream, Cinnamon, Brownie Batter, and more. When you reach the final round, you will vote for the top menu item.
