During the holiday season, Philadelphia is filled with festive events and activities.  There are several must-see light displays, dozens of festive restaurants and bars, and one of the largest Christmas markets in the nation. Uptown Beer Garden, located at 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd. in Center City, is a family-friendly venue perfect for those who want to get into the Christmas spirit. This year, the venue has added a lunch service to its menu. It's also partnered with the Christmas Village, Philadelphia's authentic German Christmas market. The Uptown Beer Garden is decked with thousands of lights and a Grinch-themed vibe. There are koi fish ponds, a koi fish fountain, and a Grinch-themed cup.



Evil Genius in Philadelphia

Throughout December, Philadelphia will host several events to celebrate the holiday season.  The city is known for its holiday attractions, including tree lighting, shows, and skating. Some of these events are free for the public to attend. Others are pay-as-you-go. The Evil Genius Beer Company will host several events during the holiday season. They will be transforming their beer garden into a winter wonderland. Guests can enjoy hot chocolate, beer, and a 20-foot Christmas tree.  They will also participate in Fishtown Freeze, including live ice sculpture carvings and custom ice sculptures at participating businesses. The event is a neighborhood-wide family-friendly event. It also features live entertainment, skating, gifts for kids, and more.
