Max Brenner

This Philadelphia restaurant is known for its kid-friendly atmosphere, unique decor, and delectable food. Max Brenner's menu features chocolate-themed cocktails and a few traditional beverages. Besides desserts, you'll find a wide selection of appetizers and entrees. You can take your chocolate tummy to town with Max Brenner's take-out option.

The restaurant's name is a play on the famous Max'd Out Patty Melt, an old-fashioned "go big or go home" dish. The Max'd Out Patty Melt is made of a burger patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, Vidalia onion ring, and Max's secret barbeque sauce. It's served in a "Max'd Out Hug Mug" and costs $14.

Pizza Brain

Located in Fishtown, Pizza Brain is more than a restaurant. It is also home to the world's most extensive collection of pizza memorabilia. And, if you love pizza, you will love seeing this collection. Pizza Brain's collection includes vinyl records, vintage toys, movie posters, and memorabilia from the pizza industry. The collection has been featured on The Cooking Channel's Pizza Cuz and Travel Channel's Food Paradise. In Fishtown, Pizza Brain is a fun and unique addition to the city.

Pizza Brain is a Neapolitan-New York hybrid that serves whole, round pies. The crust is day-plus fermented sourdough. The pies are filled with fresh ingredients and creamy bechamel. The restaurant was originally an art show. The pizza-themed murals are filled with bright colors and pizza-related imagery. A cartoon mural features people from Philadelphia.



The Victor Cafe in Philadelphia

Located in South Philadelphia, Victor Cafe is a family-owned neighborhood landmark.  The cafe has served good Italian food and entertained its patrons for over a century. In addition to serving great food, the cafe is famous for its live opera performances. The singing servers perform operatic arias for diners every twenty minutes. The cafe also features an outdoor patio, room service, and a wine list. The restaurant accepts OpenTable reservations.

The restaurant serves a full menu of Italian fare, including pizza, pasta, salad, and breakfast. The Victor Cafe serves several wines from Italy and other countries. The cafe also offers room service, takeout, and local delivery. The restaurant also features musical memorabilia on the walls. The cafe is decorated in red-checked tablecloths and has a 1930's vibe inside. The dining room is filled with music memorabilia and pictures of famous musicians. The cafe is known for its spicy Fra Diavolo and classic Italian eats.



Moshulu in Philadelphia

Moshulu is the only sailing ship in the world that has been converted into a restaurant. This historic ship was initially built in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1904. After many years of U.S. service, she made 54 trips around Cape Horn, never causing any problems. In addition to serving seafood, the ship's bar serves a variety of local craft beers and cocktails. The ship's interior is decorated with beautiful hand-painted ceilings, detailed woodwork, and friendly staff. The ship's upper decks offer al fresco dining in the summer, and heated tented decks host special events in the winter.

Talula's Garden in Philadelphia

Founded in 2011 by restaurateur Stephen Starr and chef Aimee Olexy, Talula's Garden is one of Philadelphia's most unique restaurants.  With its greenhouse-inspired interior and outdoor garden setting, Talula's Garden has a lot going for it. Talula's Garden is made up of three distinct spaces. Its main dining room is filled with natural light, and the interior is laid out with pressed leaf artwork and nature-themed cylindrical lamps. The restaurant also has a large, split-level brick patio. The patio features a latticework of potted plants.

While Talula's Garden doesn't have the best wine list in town, it has several dishes worth the splurge. The restaurant also offers brunch, which includes a rhubarb gateau and omelet with whipped goat cheese.
