Philadelphia Zoo HippoPhiladelphia, PA - If there's one thing the internet loves more than hippos, its videos of hippopotamuses. This one shot at the Philadelphia Zoo has racked up millions of views in just 24 hours. The video shows two hippopotamuses chowing down on pumpkins, a delicious treat and a general delight for those who view it.

The video was captured by public relations contractor Kory Aversa, who posted it on his personal TikTok account. When it started gaining views, he was shocked to see how quickly it took off. Aversa PR was able to set up a television shoot with a local station. The reporter, Sophia Cifuentes, was previewing Boo at the Zoo event. Aversa PR organized the shoot and took care of the content, ensuring it went viral on social media. After the video went viral, zoo traffic skyrocketed.

The video earned Aversa millions of views in two days.  He is currently working with The Philly zoo on a new Boo at the Zoo series. However, the algorithm on TikTok was giving him trouble, and Kory decided to post the video on Instagram Reels, a less-known platform. The video went viral within two days, with over four million likes and almost half a million shares.
