- First, Friday events are back upon us! Spring is here, and Old Kensington locals and visitors are invited to American Street First Friday. Coming up on Friday, May 6, from 5 -- 9 pm, organized by Olde Kensington Boutique and hosted in part by New Liberty Distillery.
Old Kensington Hosts American Street First Friday
Held on American Street between Jefferson and Master, American Street First Friday will have food, drinks, live music, and vendors selling artisan goods. Additionally, attendees are invited into the New Liberty Distillery Cocktail Garden to shop from select artists and other vendors selling while sipping hand-crafted cocktails from the new spring menu.
American Street First Friday is a free program running from 5 -- 9 pm, with live music beginning at 6:30 pm. Vendors will be on-site selling goods, including award-winning empanadas, handmade soaps, original art, bites, jewelry, and more from local Philly makers such as El Secreto Snack Philly and Ray's Reusables Messin' with Resin, Co., and many more.
In other fun news, New Liberty Distillery has partnered with Monarch Yoga to host Free Yoga Friday, held every Friday from 4:30 -- 5:15 pm in the spacious second-floor space of the distillery. Note that New Liberty Distillery's Happy Hour is offered from 4 -- 6 pm! Monarch Yoga's Free Flow classes at New Liberty Distillery are free of charge, but spots are limited to just 25 attendees.
