Philadelphia, PA - The Reading Terminal Market is one of America's oldest Markets, opened in 1893, in the Historic Landmark Building, it is also one of the top tourist attractions in downtown Philadelphia.
So, when I heard they were having a Harvest Festival, my expectations were high, and I expected all of the usual Harvest Festival type stuff, such as Hayrides, colossal turkey legs, pumpkin patches, candy apples, and this years event had all that and much, much more.
Venders were lined up alongside the streets of the market, selling delicious food, seasonal goods as well as plenty of activities for the little ones to enjoy. They even closed Filbert street to make room for haystack and outdoor activities.
Several inside vendors were also participating in the Harvest Festival with plenty of specials and discounted items. But, If you missed this year's festival, The Reading Terminal Market has a few more upcoming events this year, and well, you can always look forward to attending next year's Harvest Festival.
