Philadelphia, PA - City Offices Closed and City Services Curtailed for Veterans DayAll City of Philadelphia offices are going to be closed as well as City services restricted on Monday, November 11, in honor of the Veterans Day holiday.

City Offices Closed and City Services Curtailed for Veterans DayGarbage is not going to be picked up on Monday, November 11. Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams recommends residents with regular collection on Monday, to put out trash on Tuesday, November 12. normal trash schedules will be one day behind for the rest of the week.

All City District Health facilities are closed on Monday, as are all branch offices of the Department of Licenses and Inspections; the North and Northeast Municipal Service Centers; the Marriage License Bureau; all Philadelphia Parks & Recreation facilities; the Free Library of Philadelphia and all of its branches and the executive offices of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, as well as its Violations branch, at 9th and Filbert streets as well as Philadelphia Department of Prisons facilities, closed to visitors on Monday.

City offices will reopen on Tuesday, November 12, 2018.
