 Festive Events in Northern LibertiesPHILADELPHIA, PA - Northern Liberties is filling its biggest holiday weekend ever with a dozen themed events, ensuring families and adults alike have plenty of seasonal activities to choose from on Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, 2025.


Brunch, Brews, and the Big Guy

The weekend offers multiple ways to celebrate with Santa and support the local brewery scene:

  • Brunch with Santa Claus (Sunday): Jerry's Bar at 129 W. Laurel will host a festive brunch buffet with a special meet-and-greet with Santa at two seatings: 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Reservations are required.
  • Yards Brewing Pajama Party and Fundraiser (Saturday): Yards Brewing at 500 Spring Garden hosts a fun-filled Pajama Party from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Families can meet Santa from 2 PM to 4 PM (each child under 10 receives a complimentary present). Guests who wear pajamas receive $1 off pints of Long Jawns. The event also benefits Cradles to Crayons through a toy drive.
  • Winter Wonderland at LaserPhilly (Both Days): LaserPhilly (829 N. 2nd St) hosts a family-friendly Winter Wonderland from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM both days, featuring photos with Santa, letter writing to the North Pole, photo-ops, games, and a curated gift collection.

Speakeasies and Seasonal Sips

For the adults looking for unique festive experiences, the neighborhood is transforming several spots:



  • North Pole Speakeasy at Newsroom: Newsroom Cafe Philly (1102 Germantown Avenue) has transformed into a full winter wonderland with floor-to-ceiling décor and themed cocktails. The immersive North Pole Pop-Up experience, hidden behind a giant toy soldier, is ticketed ($25) and includes a signature holiday cocktail and a take-home mug.
  • Mamajuana Cafe Philly (All Weekend): The newest addition to the NLBID, Mamajuana Cafe Philly (1000 Girard Avenue) is inviting guests to enjoy its giant 25-foot Christmas tree and light display, new holiday cocktails, and a lively vibe brunch party on Sunday.
  • Random Tea Room Adventure (Friday and Sunday): The Random Tea Room (713 N. 4th Street) offers a "Blend Your Own Tea Adventure"—a self-guided, interactive experience where tea lovers can craft their perfect blend.
