Founded by husband and wife Michael and Jamie Weiss, Sweet Brew Café was born out of a desire to bring freshly roasted coffee to Bridge Street. After gathering feedback from locals, the Weisses realized there was an unmet need in town – real bagels! With Michael’s experience frequenting the northern Jersey shore, he knew that the only option was to bring real NY bagels to PA.
Sweet Brew Café offers New York bagels with signature Build Your Own Bagels options that include creative combinations like Rainbow Bagel with Cream Cheese, Fruit Loops & Strawberries; French Toast Bagel with Sweet Cream Cheese & Cinnamon Toast Crunch; and Onion Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese and Flamin Hot Cheetos.
The café also features locally roasted coffee from Speakeasy Coffee Roasters, a small family-owned roastery down the road in Pennsburg, PA. Speakeasy sources the highest quality beans from around the world and roasts Sweet Brew’s “Middle Child” blend for their in house brand 1st Crack Coffee. Customers can choose from most espresso specialty drinks, hot and iced coffee, cold brew – and don’t forget to ask about the sweet cream cold foam!
