P.J. Whelihans Opens 22nd Location in Doylestown PA Philadelphia, PA - As part of their ongoing expansion in Philadelphia, PJW Restaurant Group has signed á with Binswanger: Lawrence Park Shopping Center off Sproul Road in Broomall and Hatfield Pointe off Forty Foot Road in Hatfield.

Established in 1983 by Bob and Donna Platzer, PJW Restaurant Group comprises 26 brands across eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey, including P.J. Whelihan's, The Pour House, Treno Pizza Bar, Central Taco & Tequila, and The ChopHouse Grille. Initially known for chicken wings, the company is now best known for its pub-style comfort food offerings.

PJW restaurants boast a vibrant pub-like atmosphere and a 50-TV sports package, making them popular with locals. Their menu offers classic pub fare such as burgers, chicken wings, fried chicken, salads, chili, and other classic pub grub alongside an extensive selection of beers on tap.

With this addition, PJW now boasts 22 locations throughout South Jersey and Pennsylvania - with one more planned for year-end. In total, the restaurant group will have 29 establishments.

Binswanger's Senior Vice President and Partners Jason Kramer and Josh Haber led the transactions. These centers are owned and managed by Federal Realty Investment Trust and CFC Properties, respectively.



Since its inception, PJW Restaurant Group has seen tremendous growth and expansion. Headquartered in Westmont, Pennsylvania, with locations across eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey, it is supported by New York investment firm Garnett Station Partners through a partnership. The restaurant group was built upon its founding owners' foundation of quality comfort food and beer.
