NEW JERSEY - Burlington County's independent coffee scene is gearing up for a brand-new addition. Local caffeine lovers can now look forward to Creek Turn Coffee Company, a new cafe concept that just cleared a major hurdle on its path to opening in Hainesport, New Jersey.
Creek Turn Coffee Company Gets the Green Light to Open in Hainesport
As reported by the Courier-Post, the new business is officially moving forward after securing essential municipal approvals this fall. At a September 2026 meeting, the Hainesport Joint Land Use Board granted preliminary and final major site plan approvals, clearing the way for the cafe's construction and development.
The Location: Revitalizing the Route 38 Corridor
Creek Turn Coffee Company will be located at 1366 Route 38, deliberately positioning the cafe along one of Burlington County's busiest commuting corridors.
The approval process required the local board to grant a series of design waivers and bulk variances—specifically addressing parking and setback relief—allowing the applicant to successfully adapt the Route 38 parcel for a modern coffee shop operation.
A Nod to Hainesport History
While the menu and exact grand opening date are still under wraps, the new cafe's name is a direct nod to Hainesport's local geography and history.
The coffee shop shares its namesake with the nearby Creek Turn Park. Currently undergoing its own massive, multi-phase revitalization project, the park is named after a spectacular bend in the Rancocas Creek. Historically, that same waterfront land was home to the Creek Turn Ceramic Supply Company. By adopting the "Creek Turn" moniker, the new cafe is firmly rooting its brand in the local fabric of the Hainesport community.
As the development team transitions from the planning board phase into active construction, South Jersey locals should keep a close eye on the Route 38 corridor for official opening timelines in the coming months.
