The story of the building is a fascinating journey through New Hope's history. For 125 years, it served as a Methodist house of worship, a central pillar of the community. In 2003, the church was transformed by restaurateur Marsha Brown into a legendary Creole-style restaurant that was a beloved destination for nearly two decades. After closing during the pandemic, the space was passed to a new team, including Wilfer Naranjo, who once worked at Marsha Brown's as a food runner, bringing his story full circle.
