2021 Mummers Protest Parade
While there will be no official Philadelphia Mummers Parade this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. A Facebook event page has announced an unofficial Mummers New Year's Day protest against Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.
The group is calling for a peaceful protest of the city's COVID closures. City officials have announced they will not stop the groups from peacefully protesting, but have encouraged members to stay home.
