Haraz Coffee House Celebrates One Year of Yemeni TraditionPHILADELPHIA - Since opening its doors in 2025, Haraz Coffee House has transformed the corner of 3421 Chestnut Street into a sensory escape. This week, the University City staple is marking its first full year in Philadelphia with a high-energy, four-day anniversary bash running from March 26 through March 29.

For those who haven't yet traded their standard latte for a Mufawar coffee or a spicy Adeni Chai, this weekend is the ultimate entry point. The celebration isn’t just a thank you to the neighborhood; it’s a marathon of rotating hourly specials designed to keep guests coming back for "just one more" treat.

The Anniversary "Hits List":

  • The Viral Favorites: Look out for BOGO deals on their famous Dubai Strawberries and 50% off the decadent Dubai Brownie.
  • The Perfect Pairings: Buy a traditional hot drink and score a free Milk Cake, or grab a latte and get a breakfast sandwich on the house.
  • Traditional Tastes: Pair any traditional drink with a free piece of honey-soaked Baklava.

The weekend kicks off on Thursday, March 26, with a community Trivia Night hosted by Jamie Callen. Whether you’re a Penn student looking for a study break or a local coffee connoisseur, the Haraz team is ready to celebrate the "conversations and moments" that defined their first year.
