PhillyBite10PHILADELPHIA, PA – If you’re looking for a way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend without just chasing green beer, Fishtown has a much tastier alternative. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the neighborhood is bringing back Stouts and Snouts, a day-long celebration of dark brews, whiskey cocktails, and all things pork.

Now in its second year, this neighborhood-wide "crawl" features over 20 of Fishtown’s heavy hitters—from world-class breweries to Michelin-recommended pizza spots—each serving up one-day-only specials.

The Concept: Dark Beer & "Snout-Inspired" Bites

The name says it all. The event focuses on the pairing of bold stouts (the beer) and snouts (pork-inspired dishes, with plenty of plant-based swaps available). Whether you’re a whiskey connoisseur or a dedicated foodie, the district-wide menu is designed to handle the pre-St. Paddy’s crowd with style.

  • When: Saturday, March 14, 2026
  • Time: 11:00 AM until close
  • Cost: Pay-as-you-go (No cover charge)
  • Where: Across the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District

Who’s Serving?

The 2026 lineup is a "who’s who" of the Fishtown dining scene. While the full list includes over 20 locations, here are a few standouts to add to your route:

  • For the Beer Lovers: Other Half Brewing is going big with rare barrel-aged bottles (including a Cookies & Cream Split), while Brewery ARS is pouring "FUMUS," a lightly smoked stout made with honey.
  • For the Spirits Crowd: Lloyd Whiskey Bar and Fette Sau are both featuring WhistlePig Maple Old Fashioneds—the perfect "snout" themed cocktail.
  • For the Foodies: WM Mulherin's Sons is serving a Pork Costoletta with prosciutto and parmigiano, while Evil Genius is leaning into the classics with a hearty Cuban Sandwich.

Menu Highlights: What to Eat & Drink

You can't hit every spot, so you’ll need to strategize. Here are the "can’t-miss" items leaked in the early menus:

The "Snouts" (The Food)

  • Stout-Braised Pork Belly: A rich, melt-in-your-mouth favorite found at Lloyd Whiskey Bar.
  • Hawaiian Style Pulled Pork Sliders: Braised in brown sugar and Love City Stout at Fette Sau.
  • Bacon Baked Oysters: A salty, savory treat at The International Bar.
  • Roast Pork Pot Pie: Comfort food at its finest, served up at Percy.
  • Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs: The ultimate snack-and-stroll food from Lloyd.

The "Stouts" (The Brews)

  • Magically Delicious: A green IPA for those who want that St. Paddy’s aesthetic (Evil Genius).
  • Bang On: A dry Irish Stout on Nitro for the purists (Other Half Brewing).
  • Forged Nitro Irish Stout: A creamy, dark classic (WM Mulherin’s Sons).

Plan Your Route

"Fishtown District is thrilled to bring back this destination food-and-drink event," says Marc Collazzo, Executive Director of the BID. "It’s a great way to spend the day sampling creative pairings while supporting local businesses."

With the event running from 11:00 AM until bars close, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Most locations are within walking distance along the Frankford Avenue and Girard Avenue corridors, making it easy to hop between Frankford Hall for a schnitzel and Garage for a quick pint.
