From 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on this patriotic day, anyone – resident or non-resident – can legally cast their lines in Pennsylvania's waters without the need for a fishing license.

What to Expect:



This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned anglers and newcomers alike to experience the joy of fishing in the diverse waterways of Pennsylvania. Whether you prefer the tranquility of a serene lake or the excitement of a flowing river, there's a spot for everyone.

Things to Remember:



While the fishing license requirement is waived for the day, it's important to note that all other fishing regulations still apply. This includes adherence to seasons, size limits, and creel limits.
