Arriving at a sea of white flowing table linens and ensembles that dazzled around the wonderfully illuminated carousel. It was a Glorious August evening as the people scuttled about, setting their tables, arranging their flatware and decking out the centerpieces with a keen eye for all to see. All their dinnerware end to end to share in the merriment with their all-white attire. Blessed with the weather with gentle and cool breezes that drifted between the trees from across the water at this select venue. It was amazing.
As risky as red wine and a white dress this event was genuinely noteworthy (See.. Diner En Blanc 2017 a Night of Fashion at Franklin Square.) Everything to be seen from acrobatic performances and jump rope teams to adults on playground equipment echoing their childhood. The mini-putt golf and carnival atmosphere dazzled everyone, and I believe I even saw a marriage proposal.

All around fun time with music, dancing and a fashion explosion that will keep your head on a swivel. As a first-timer to this popular event, I can tell you that it was a truly mesmerizing experience. To the orchestrators of this event, well done and beautiful job. Next year don’t forget to sign up early because spots fill quickly for this increasable event.
