Philadelphia, PA – On Thursday, October 5th, SimpleVenue and Glu Hospitality proudly present Sushi Suite, a new ‘sushi speakeasy’ in the heart of Fishtown. Located at 1832 Frankford Avenue, Sushi Suite will offer an exclusive and intimate omakase experience featuring a 17-course menu masterfully prepared by Chef Mitsutaka Harada.

Sushi Suite is the latest concept from SimpleVenue, an NYC-based hospitality group specializing in micro restaurants and bringing incredible concepts to underutilized spaces nationwide. The Sushi Suite brand created the world's first-ever hotel room turned restaurant, where guests check in at the front desk and receive a room key that gives them access to a once-in-a-lifetime experience. SimpleVenue is proud to expand and invest in the Philadelphia market with three restaurants, starting with Sushi Suite in Fishtown.
For those looking for a unique dining experience, guests will unlock 90 minutes of pure indulgence as Chef Harada prepares each course right before their eyes. The meal can be paired with signature cocktails, rare Japanese whiskies, and an extensive sake menu that perfectly complements the cuisine. The eight-seat sushi counter features an upscale atmosphere with subtle 1920s glam meets modern-day speakeasy vibes.

Regular hours of operation after opening day will be Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (seating times 5:00 pm, 6:30pm, 8:00pm), Friday and Saturday 5:00pm to 11:00pm (seating times 5:00pm, 6:30pm, 8:00pm 9:30 pm).
