Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Live Nation Philadelphia - Live Nation Philadelphia today selected Brûlée Catering by James Beard Award-winning Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix to create an unprecedented culinary experience at the soon-to-open live entertainment destination, The Met Philadelphia.


Spectra-owned Brûlée will become the exclusive food and beverage provider for the historic venue, which is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar transformation. The premier catering company will manage and operate the dining experience with high-end cuisine—including full-service dining options—and a dynamic beverage program to complement the live performances. Additionally, multiple event spaces will be available for private rental.

The Met Philadelphia will feature a full menu and bottle service as part of its in-suite services program; these amenities will also be offered in the Grande Salle, an upscale lounge and event space for pre-, during, and post-show entertaining. The Met Philadelphia also boasts full-service bars on all four floors of event space, featuring an array of local craft beers and specialty top-shelf drinks. Additionally, an expansive on-site kitchen will allow Brûlée’s culinary team to execute broad menu options for in-suite catering and orchestra box rentals. In the coming months, Live Nation and Brûlée will announce partnerships with several local celebrity chefs.

The transformation of the Oscar Hammerstein-designed 1908 opera house on North Broad Street—a partnership between Live Nation, Eric Blumenfeld and Holy Ghost Headquarters—is slated to open in December 2018, and will be a fusion of remarkable food, signature entertainment, and an unparalleled VIP guest experience.

Also included in the partnership are Brûlée Music & Food Experiences, which will fuse expanded food and beverage offerings and curated experiences with concert events. The first announced event is Derek Hough, who will perform at The Met on June 14, 2019. Fans can expect a wide range of food, music, and cultural additions to the evening that highlight the artist and show. Sample menu items may include Utah Scones with whipped honey butter and Brûlée’s spin on Utah’s famous Crown Burger with Fry Sauce as an homage to Hough’s home state; as well as specialty Latin cuisine and artist-themed craft cocktails as a nod to Hough’s career as a former World DanceSport Federation World Latin Champion, star of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and numerous other roles on television, movies and theatre.
